Think Brushco Font Review

There I was, staring at a blank brand board, trying to find the right visual language for a new artisanal café. The client wanted something that felt handcrafted, yet polished—like the coffee they served. That’s when I pulled up Think Brushco, a textured display font that masterfully combines rawness with sophistication. Its distinctive slant and authentic brushed texture made it stand out immediately.

Think Brushco for Logo Design and Brand Identity

Testing Think Brushco on a logo concept was like finding the missing piece of a puzzle. The font’s character lies within its authentic brushed finish, which gives it a tactile, almost handmade feel. It worked well for a café name that needed to feel approachable but still had a touch of class. Compared to other display fonts, Think Brushco brought a unique energy that felt fresh and modern without being overdone.

The slant in the font adds movement, making it ideal for logos that need to convey motion or creativity. It didn’t overpower the design, but rather complemented the visual elements, creating a balanced and cohesive look. For a brand identity project, Think Brushco proved to be a strong choice when paired with clean, minimal graphics.

Think Brushco for Packaging and Product Labels

When I moved to packaging mockups, Think Brushco really came into its own. The texture of the font added depth to product labels, making them more visually engaging. On a small label, it held up surprisingly well, maintaining legibility while still feeling expressive. It wasn’t too bold, so it didn’t compete with the imagery or color palette of the packaging.

For a skincare product line, Think Brushco gave the brand a more organic, artisanal vibe. The brushed effect mimicked the feel of hand-poured products, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to quality. It worked especially well on a minimalist label where the font could be the focal point without overwhelming the design.

Think Brushco for Web Headers and Social Media Graphics

On a website header, Think Brushco brought a sense of personality that other display fonts often lacked. It wasn’t just about looking good—it had a presence that made the content feel more dynamic. When used as a headline, it caught the eye without being distracting, making it perfect for hero sections or featured content areas.

Social media layouts also benefited from Think Brushco’s character. On an Instagram post, it added a sense of authenticity that resonated with the audience. The font’s slant and texture made it feel more personal, which is exactly what a boutique brand needs to stand out in a crowded feed.

Think Brushco for Business Cards and Print Assets

A business card can make or break a first impression, and Think Brushco delivered. On a printed card, the font’s texture gave it a subtle richness that elevated the overall design. It wasn’t too flashy, but it had enough character to make the card memorable.

For a creative studio’s business card, Think Brushco worked well when paired with a simple sans serif for body text. The contrast between the two fonts created a professional yet artistic feel. It also looked great in both black and white or colored versions, making it versatile for different print applications.

Think Brushco for Editorial and Commercial Design

In editorial design, Think Brushco added a layer of visual interest that made headlines more compelling. It worked well for a magazine spread about local businesses, where the font’s rawness matched the stories being told. The slant gave the text a sense of movement, making it feel more alive than traditional display fonts.

For commercial design, Think Brushco was a solid choice for short phrases and taglines. It wasn’t meant for long blocks of text, but as an accent or headline font, it shone. It worked best when used sparingly, allowing it to make a statement without overwhelming the design.

One thing to keep in mind is that Think Brushco isn’t ideal for small sizes or long paragraphs. It’s a display font first and foremost, so it’s best reserved for headlines, logos, and other prominent design elements. For formal corporate use, it might not be the best fit, but for creative or lifestyle brands, it’s a powerful tool.

If you’re considering using Think Brushco in your next project, test it across different platforms and sizes before finalizing. Pair it with a complementary font to balance its strength, and always check the licensing terms before using it in client work or commercial projects. Think Brushco is a premium font that offers a unique blend of texture and style, making it a valuable addition to any designer’s toolkit.
